When you live or visit Branson, Missouri you never know what might be coming to town. Recently we learned that Paula Deen is opening a Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen restaurant at the Branson Landing. The large sign hanging outside of the restaurant states that they will be opening September 2nd.
So what does a Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen offer? According to the website they are strong on being a family friendly style of restaurant. They event mention that you pass the food around the table like you were eating with family. Another feature is that they use the exact recipes that created Paula Deen’s career. It’s even joked that when she visits she goes into each kitchen and gives cooking lessons on the recipes.
The Branson Landing has many things to offer you while you wait for your group or if you want to spend all day there. The biggest draw is in the middle and is called the Fountains. There is a water and fire show every hour here. During the summer they also host multiple concerts and events at the fountains. All the details can be found HERE.
On one end of the Branson Landing you will find a Bass Pro Shop with an aquarium inside, Old fashioned 5&10 Store, and Garfields. On the other end near the new Paula Deen’s restaurant there is a Belk, Rack Room Shoes, Claires, Black Oak Grill and so many between. Branson Landing sits right on the Taneycomo Lake which allows for additional entertainment. They offer daily cruises on the lake, Fish House is stationed on the water, and there is always an event going on at the Paddlewheel.
